Peyton Taylor sticks it out to win Night 2 of Race For Hope 71
BATESVILLE, Arkansas . (09/23/22) – Peyton Taylor hangs tight on night 2 of Race for Hope 71 to collect his first $4,000 payday of the weekend.
Cody Laney led the field to the green after starting on the pole of the 2nd night of the Race For Hope 71 where he would remain in the lead for twenty-one laps. Laney would be taken over by P. Taylor on lap 22 and would remain in 2nd position to finish the 40 lap feature on top of the podium.
Peyton Taylor started in 13th position for the 40 lapper feature event after barely making the transfer from his heat race where he claimed the 3rd and final transfer spot.
Jayden Schmidt of Seymour, Wisconsin would finish in 3rd position behind Laney after starting outside front row. Finishing behind Schmidt in 4th position was another big mover in the feautre event, Brandon Smith, who drove from up from his 14th starting position.
Rounding out the top 5 was Travis Mosley after he drove up thru the field from 16th starting spot.
