BAD BOY DRIVER, BRANDON SMITH CLAIMS IMCA MODIFIED FEATURE - OPENING NIGHT OF POINTS
Batesville Motor Speedway- April 6, 2024
Brandon Smith, driving his #115 BAD BOY MOWERS IMCA Modified took home the first feature win in points racing at Batesville Motor Speedway on Saturday night. It was a clean sweep for Smith as he also won his heat race. Finishing in second place was Travis Mosley with Ashton Wilkey took third.
In the IMCA STOCK, Joe Payne, came out on top by winning his heat race and the Feature event. Coming in second was Roger Witt followed by Stephen Morrow.
Hobby Stock Feature winner was Cabot, Arkansas driver, Hunter Everett. Everett started in the 8th position to claim the win. Anthony Creasey came in second and Broddy Smith took third.
In the Midwest Mods division, Cody Maple, took home the bumped up pay-out to win $500 first place prize money sponsored by Pro-Tire and Auto of Batesville. West Plains driver, Jim Vincent came in second and Adam Poe took third place.
The Pro-Tire and Auto also sponsored the Midwest Mod Hard Charger. Connor Wheeler claimed the win for that.
Trevor Ford of Mt. View, AR took home the trophy in the Arkansas Factory Stock class. Little Rock driver, Connor Kuykendall came in second, followed by Cody Robinson also of Mountain View.
Gracie Surrett of Little Rock, AR, was the Young Gun Winner. Coming in second was Riley Morrow, the 2023 Champion, followed by Isacc Davis. of Drasco.
Points racing continues on Saturday, April 13th with all classes racing.
The Titan Race Car Legend LATE MODEL Series will be making their first appearance at Batesville Motor Speedway this season.
Gates open at 5:30 - racing at 7:30. Adult admission is $15 - Kids 11 & under get in FREE.
Pit Gates open at 4:00. Pit Passes are $35.
