KANSAS CITY DRIVER WINS MOD LITES OF ARKANSAS OPENER AT BATESVILLE MOTOR SPEEDWAY

Locust Grove, Arkansas - April 11, 2026

Dillon Raffurty drove all the way from Kansas City, Missouri to win the Arkansas Mod Lite Series Opener at Batesville Motor Speedway on Saturday night. Raffurty started the race in the 5th position in a field of twenty-one Arkansas Mod Lites (MLA). Second place went to Blake Wilson and third place was Jeromy Wilson, both of Mabelvale, Arkansas.

In the SHAW RACE CARS IMCA MODIFIEDS, John Waugh #21 of Batesville was the winner. Coming in second was #37c Adam Maple and Richie Tosh in his #11T modified finished in third place.

Steven Brewster of Greenbrier, driving his #77B stock car, claimed the victory in the CADILLAC CHASSIS IMCA STOCK CAR event, followed by #7 Joe Payne of Concord, AR, and Little Rock driver Scooter Scruggs #43 came in third place.

In the SCOOTER'S AUTO PARTS FACTORY STOCK Division, Trevor Ford #5T of Mt. View, AR took home the win, with Enola, AR driver, Chuck McGinty in the #14M finishing in second. Roger Witt, driving #737 took third place.

Jason Wilkey #17 of Batesville took home the win in the INDEPENDENCE COUNTY OFF-ROAD MID-WEST MODS DIVISION. Team Wheeler of Sulphur Rock, AR finished in the second and third positions. Connor Wheeler #0 was second and older brother, Keaton #5w came in third.

In the PRO-TIRE & AUTO HOBBY STOCK DIVISION, Hunter Everett #11 crossed the finish line first, followed by #56 Cody Cornett of Drasco, AR. Jesse Brooks #3 finished in third place.

With a field of 18 Cruisers, Curtis Hess #5H of Batesville, AR took the checkered flag for first, followed by Jason Novak #98 and Josh Birmingham #27B of Paragould, AR finished third.

Back in victory lane again in the Young Guns division was the #G27S of Gracie Surrett of Little Rock, Arkansas. Second place went to #04 Jon Koch of Bee Branch, AR.

Our next race will be on April 18th with a full night of Point Racing. All seven classes will be racing.

Gates will open at 5:30. Hot Laps at 7:00 and Racing starts at 7:30.
Grandstand admission is $12 and Kids 11 & under get in free.

We accept cards at the Ticket Window and Souvenir Shop. Cash only in Concession.
